2026 Ballon d’Or: He makes everything look easy – Jesus picks player to win award

Barcelona striker Gabriel Jesus has said his new teammate, Lamine Yamal, deserves to win the 2026 Ballon d’Or.

Jesus only joined the LaLiga champions this summer but is already impressed with what he has seen from Yamal in training.

He said: “This year, it should go to Lamine.”

“I’ve had the opportunity to train with great players, and Lamine is one more among those I’ve trained and played with.”

“Everything he does, he makes look easy.”

Yamal, who won the LaLiga and World Cup titles in the year under review, is one of the 30 nominees for this year’s Ballon d’Or.
