Paris Saint-Germain manager, Luis Enrique, has claimed that the winner of the 2026 Ballon d’Or should come from his team.
Enrique was speaking to reporters ahead of their Champions League trip to Manchester City.
PSG’s Ousmane Dembele is the current holder of the prize, having beaten Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal to it last year.
Ahead of this year’s event, the Ligue 1 side has 10 players nominated for the Men’s Ballon d’Or, setting a record for the most players ever nominated from a single club.
“What I hope is that we win this trophy. We have players who deserve it,” Enrique said.
“Last year, we were the best team. We showed that it wasn’t just Ousmane Dembélé who deserved it.”
