Falconets head coach Moses Aduku has challenged his players to move on from the win over England and shift attention to their upcoming clash against Colombia, DAILY POST reports.
Nigeria will take on Colombia in a quarter-final fixture at the ongoing 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Lodz on Sunday.
Aduku’s side will head into the game in buoyant mood following their 3-0 Round of 16 victory over England’s Young Lionesses.
The gaffer said it is important for his players to concentrate fully on the task ahead.
“It will be unwise for us to keep thinking of the win over England. That match is gone and we already cut short our celebration immediately after in the dressing room to focus on the encounter with Colombia. The Colombians sent out the host nation and will not be a walk-in-the-park for us,” Aduku told thenff.com.
The game will kick-off at 2pm Nigerian time.
