2026 World Cup: Full Fixtures, Match Dates, Venues And Kickoff Times

All is set for the 2026 World Cup, which begins in the Americas on Thursday. South Africa and Mexico will lock horns in the opening fixture of the competition, a rematch of the first match in the 2010 edition of the tournament hosted by South Africa. 

This World Cup features 48 teams—the first time the global football fiesta will host this many countries. Ten of the nations are from Africa.
