2026 World Cup: People need to stop pretending about Messi – Ronaldo

Brazil football legend, Ronaldo De Lima, has insisted Lionel Messi is the greatest player of all time without any arguments.

Ronaldo was reacting to Messi’s sensational hat-trick in their 3-0 win over Algeria at the 2026 World Cup.

The three strikes saw Messi surpass Ronaldo’s tally in the competition.

Ronaldo, in an interview with A Bola, said the world needs to finally accept there is no debate about the best footballer in history.

He said: “It’s time for the world to stop hiding and accept the fact that he is the best player of all time.

“He continues to deliver every season and in the World Cup and, yet, there are still doubts about him. It is an unforgettable and historic night that will remain forever in the history books.”
