At least three African countries have confirmed their spots in the 2026 World Cup Round of 32.
Cote d’Ivoire became the third team to qualify, thanks to a 2-0 win over Curacao on Thursday night.
The Elephants needed all three points to be assured of a place in the knockouts.
And Nicolas Pepe’s brace ensured that the Ivorians finished second behind Group E winners, Germany.
They will now face the team that finishes as Group I runners-up.
South Africa’s 1-0 win over South Korea ensured they are through to the knockouts alongside Morocco, who had thrashed Haiti 4-2.
Tunisia is the only African team whose elimination has been confirmed.
