Former captain of the Super Eagles, William Troos-Ekong, has tipped England to see off Norway in their quarter-final clash at the 2026 World Cup.
The two European teams play each other at the Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday evening in Miami.
England secured their place with a narrow 3-2 victory over co-hosts Mexico in the Round of 16, despite a red card to Jarell Quansah.
Norway, on the other hand, stunned pre-tournament favourites 2-0, with Erling Haaland scoring a late double.
Speaking with Al Jazeera, Troost-Ekong said: “I think that England probably has just an edge over them.
“For Kane and Haaland, I think it’s going to be a real battle.
“I don’t think it’s going to be a draw or goalless, but I think England will surely edge it.”
