2027: Atiku a typical politician, only thinks of winning election – Tinubu’s aide

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

President Bola Tinubu’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Temitope Ajayi, on Tuesday claimed that the African Democratic Congress, ADC, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, is only thinking of how to win election by all means.

Ajayi said Atiku thinks like a typical politician but Tinubu is thinking of the long term sustainability and development of Nigeria.

Posting on X, the presidential aide accused Atiku and his running mate, Rotimi Amaechi, of trying to reverse the progress recorded by Tinubu through their misdirected populism.

He said: “The progress Atiku and Amaechi want to reverse with their misdirected populism.

“Everyday, President Bola Tinubu’s reforms are delivering tangible and visible value to the economy that the world can see.

“While a typical politician like Atiku is always thinking of how to win election, by all means necessary, a statesman like Tinubu is thinking of long term sustainability and development of the country.

“Nigeria’s fiscal strength and overall economic performance are far stronger than they were in 2023 when President Tinubu assumed office.”
