Edo North Senator Adams Oshiomhole has taken a direct hit at the African Democratic Congress, ADC, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, alleging he closed down his own business but wants to rule Nigeria.
Oshiomhole said this on Thursday at the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential campaign rally in Ekiti State.
The APC chieftain asked, "How can a man who closed down his own businesses come and tell you he will create jobs for you?"
According to him, Atiku built businesses that were supposed to employ Nigerians, but the businesses failed and were shut down.
He said a man who could not sustain his private companies cannot be trusted to sustain the Nigerian economy.
Oshiomhole further stated that Atiku presents himself as a successful businessman and a job creator, but his record does not match his promise, adding that if Atiku could not keep his own businesses alive, he cannot keep Nigeria alive.
