The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) Presidential candidate, Gov. Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, has predicted a landslide victory for the party in the 2027 general elections.
Makinde made the prediction when receiving Ajiboye Sangogade and other loyalists of All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, who joined the APM, on Monday in Ibadan.
The ceremony tagged Boye Nation/JAF Movement Mega Concert was held at the Lekan Salami Sports Complex.
Sangogade, popularly known as Boye Nation, a Personal Assistant to Adelabu, the immediate past Minister for Power, led hundreds of his principal’s loyalists drawn from several local government areas across the state into the APM at the event.
Speaking at the event, themed “Young, United, Unstoppable (YUU)”, Makinde said that the people of Nigeria were ready to vote for him and other candidates of the party during the forthcoming general election.
He flayed critics of his administration in the opposition and advised them to focus their campaigns on what their candidates would do differently for the growth of the state instead of criticising him.
Makinde further stated that the APM governorship candidate in the state “is a graduate of Accounting and a professional who is also a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, the highest qualification in the profession.”
He urged his supporters to continue to campaign for the party and all its candidates to emerge victorious across the country.
The mega concert featured electrifying performances by Fuji stars including Alhaji Taye Currency and Alhaji Tiri Leather, among other artistes.
