Daily Post about 4 hours 2 mins read

Gubernatorial candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Oyo State, Senator Sharafadeen Alli has unveiled Mr Adesoji Adedeji as his Deputy ahead of the 2027 general elections.

DAILY POST reports that Adedeji is the younger brother of the Chairman of Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) Dr Zacheus Adedeji.

Alli is a native of Ibadan while Adedeji hails from Iwo Ate in Ogo Oluwa local government area in Ogbomoso geopolitical zone.

The Deputy National Auditor of the APC, Gbenga Olayemi presented the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, nomination forms to Alli at the event.

Shortly after receiving the forms Alli announced Adedeji as his Deputy, saying “I hereby present to you by Deputy gubernatorial candidate, Adesoji Michael Adedeji.”

Adeyemo appealed to all members of the party to work for the victory of the candidates. “I want you all to shun all those things that can cause our defeat. We have been out of the government for eight years, let us vote for the party. I want to beg all of us. Let us forget all those things in our minds.

“By the grace of God, come May 29th 2027, our Governor will be Senator Sharafadeen Alli and our deputy governor will be Mr Adesoji Adedeji. Let us vote for them. We will all benefit from their government. I want to beg you all in the name of God and I want to beg us in the name of God for another time.”
