A chieftain of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, presidential candidate, Buba Galadima, has claimed that President Bola Tinubu might announce himself as the winner of the 2027 presidential election.
Galadima, who disclosed this on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Thursday night, insisted that the NDC presidential candidate, Peter Obi will win the 2027 election.
He disclosed that Obi and his running mate, Rabiu Kwankwaso will win if it’s free and fair.
According to Galadima: “Peter Obi and Kwankwaso will win this election if it is free, fair, and transparent, unless somebody decides to use the machinery of government to take it away from them.
“One of the presidential candidates organized a national poll recently, Peter Obi and Kwankwaso came out early leading in four zones of the six zones of the country, namely North Central, Southeast, South South, and Southwest
“Bola Tinubu came a distant third with no zone accredited to him but if we are doing the ‘kalo Kalo’ kind of politics in Nigeria, he would announce himself having met the INEC Chairman and some prominent Nigerians in France, and we don’t know what they are doing.”
Galadima also cautioned the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, against engaging the 600 professors who recently endorsed Tinubu in Kaduna.
He insisted that endorsing them is preparation for fraud.
“Having assembled 600 professors in Kaduna to declare support for him, it’s preparatory to what we consider a fraud in this election and we are saying that none of those 600 professors should be recruited to superintend in the election because they have already taken sides by declaring their support for a candidate in this election,” he added.
