2027: Yari meets Tinubu, discusses APC campaign plans

Former Zamfara State Governor and Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, Abdulaziz Yari, on Thursday met with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Lagos alongside his son, Ahmad, to discuss preparations for the 2027 campaign.

The former governor disclosed this via his X handle.

He said: “In Lagos, alongside my son Ahmad, I met with His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. @officialABAT.

“We spoke at length about how preparations for the campaign are coming along and what it will take to keep our party strong and united ahead of 2027.

“Above all, our focus remains on the Nigerian people and on earning their continued trust in the work we are doing together. Happy 66th Independence Anniversary, Nigeria.”
