22 mortuaries in Ashanti Region operating without licences — MoFFA

The Mortuaries and Funeral Facilities Agency (MoFFA) has identified 22 out of approximately 56 mortuary facilities in the Ashanti Region as operating without the required licences. Acting Director of MoFFA, Mavis Twumwaa Appiah, said the Agency was conducting inspections across the region to identify unlicensed facilities and mortuaries that were failing to meet the required standards.
