…Likes ex-hubby’s post amid reconciliation denials

Annie Idibia may have said there’s no reunion, but her actions are telling a different story.
Days after debunking viral videos that suggested a possible reconciliation with ex-husband 2Baba, the actress has reignited speculation by liking one of the singer’s latest posts on Instagram.
The post, shared by 2Baba’s manager Mallam Yankere, showed the music icon in motion with him on the road. Annie was among the first 793 people to like the photo..
Fans quickly spotted it. “Annie just liked this post o. @official2baba #@annieidibia are soul mates,” IG user Faith Dewodo @faith_enyonama wrote.
Digital creator, Elizabeth Rukky @elizabethrukky_ also commented: “Annie liked this post. Wow.”
The buzz comes just days after Annie addressed rumours of a reunion. She clarified that a viral clip making rounds online was old and did not mean she and 2Baba were getting back together.
According to her, she is currently focused on raising her daughters and growing her career.
2Baba also shut down the rumours on his Instagram Story, writing,”Abeg na old video o”
The former couple went through years of public marital challenges before their union officially ended in early 2025. 2Baba confirmed the separation and has since remarried. Annie, on her part, says she is still single.
Despite both moving on, the viral clip and Annie’s latest Instagram activity have once again sparked conversations about their past and whether a reconciliation is possible. With both stars now making it clear there is”no going back”, the July 26 like has done little to stop fans from hoping. For many, the message is simple: the marriage
