2face Idibia bows to pressure, celebrates son’s graduation amid backlash

Daily Post about 2 hours 2 mins read

Famous Nigerian singer, Innocent Idibia, professionally known as 2Baba or 2Face, has finally celebrated son’s graduation amid heavy criticism.

DAILY POST reports that the singer had been criticised online over his absence at the graduation of his son, Justin Idibia.

Justin Idibia, the singer’s son with his second babymama, Pero Adeniyi, graduated from a London high school over the weekend.

Sharing photos from the ceremony, Pero in an Instagram post wrote, “My heart is so full today as I celebrate my son, Justin, on his graduation from high school. Congratulations, Justin! We’re beyond proud of you and excited to watch you soar to even greater heights. The future is yours, and I know God has amazing things in store for you.”

Reacting to the post, many Nigerians criticised the singer over his absence at the ceremony, noting that he was always in the life of his children with other women before his marriage to his new wife, Natasha Osawaru.

However breaking silence amid the backlash a few days after the ceremony, 2Baba took to his Instagram story to publicly congratulate Justin and shared pictures from the event.

He wrote, “Congratulations son.”
