The Government of Ghana on Wednesday, 2nd September, 2026 evacuated forty-one (41) more Ghanaians affected by the xenophobic attacks in South Africa. The returnees were welcomed on arrival at the Accra International Airport by Ambassador Alexander Grant Ntrakwa, Head of Delivery Unit, together with a cross-section of Directors from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and officials from other institutions including the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), Ghana Immigration Ser .
