A 66-year-old woman has been remanded into custody after appearing before the Ashaiman Circuit Court on a charge of manslaughter in connection with the death of a toddler entrusted to her care. The accused, Madam Josephine Avlekpor, is alleged to have caused the child 39;s death through negligence after the toddler sustained severe burns while being bathed with hot water.
