Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, on Tuesday said 80 percent of the projects completed by President Bola Tinubu’s administration in the capital city were initiated by previous administrations.

Wike spoke during Tinubu’s commissioning of the newly constructed two main carriageways of Outer Southern Expressway, OSEX, from Ring Road 1 Junction, Gudu Cemetery to Ring Road II Junction, Kabusha Junction and Gudu Cemetery To Kabusha Junction’s two Main Carriageways by Tinubu.

He said: “Your Excellency I have come to this road inspection At least not less than 10 times to see if they will keep to the promise that they have made and they have kept to the promise.

“I want to sincerely thank CGC, this means that nothing is impossible if we are determined , committed to achieve results.

“Your Excellency, it may interest you to know that this is where we have Apo mechanics village, so many governments have made promises to the informal sector that they would move them out to a more comfortable area in order to decongest this road.

“All those have been empty promises and I’m sure that those who carry out business in that village will today confirm that the promise Mr President made to them when he started inaugurating projects in his first tenure, if we want to be conservative, at least 80% of projects that we have completed are projects initiated by various administrations. That is leadership.

“Some people would have said there is no need for that, let us start our own but Mr President understands that these projects.”
