Abia govt berates NDC guber candidate Ogah over allegations of supporting Atiku

Daily Post 21 minutes 2 mins read

Abia government has described the governorship candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC  in the State, Etugo Ogah as a content creator, after he alleged the state government is supporting Atiku Abubakar and Chibuike Amaechi of the African Democratic Congress, ADC for the 2027 presidential race.

Ogah, while addressing the members of his party recently, claimed that Abia State government is not supporting President Bola Tinubu or Peter Obi, but, Atiku.

In his words, the NDC guber candidate claimed: ” The present government of Abia, they are not supporting Tinubu or Peter Obi, they are supporting Atiku and Amaechi and I want to reveal it to you people.”

But reacting to Ogah’s statement, the Special Adviser to Governor Alex Otti on Media and Publicity, Ferdinand Ekeoma, accused the NDC guber candidate and some other contestants of attempting to gain relevance by making ridiculous utterances against Governor Alex Otti.

Ekeoma who condemned the utterances, said that Ogah was already afraid of Governor Otti’s achievements.

“A few days ago, Mr. Ogah met with his party members and had a golden opportunity to tell them his vision and plans for the people.

“Unfortunately and because he has none, he spent the entire time claiming that the Government of Abia State was neither supporting Peter Obi nor President Bola Tinubu, but Atiku Abubakar

“That a governorship candidate would allege that an entire state government is supporting a particular presidential candidate is a grand manifestation of ignorance of tenable democratic ethos,” Ekeoma responded.
