Abiy Ahmed Reappointed As Ethiopia’s Prime Minister

Ethiopia’s Abiy Ahmed was reappointed as prime minister by parliament on Monday following his party’s emphatic victory in June elections.

“Abiy Ahmed is hereby appointed as the prime minister of Ethiopia,” the newly elected speaker of parliament, Ahmed Shide, announced in a televised session.
