Super Eagles head coach Éric Chelle is expecting a difficult duel against the Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau, DAILY POST reports.
Nigeria will be up against Guinea-Bissau in a 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matchday two encounter at the Estádio Nacional 24 de Setembro on Tuesday.
The two countries started their qualifying campaign with a win.
The Super Eagles laboured to a 2-1 home victory over the Barea of Madagascar, while Guinea-Bissau defeated the Taifa Stars of Tanzania 2-1 away.
Chelle believed the hosts will be a tough nut to crack for his team.
“Guinea-Bissau, they have a great team and they have some players who play in Europe, in Africa, in Turkey, France. So, this is a big game,” Chelle said during his pre-match press conference.
“The most important thing for us is to try to go forward, is to try to keep this victory, but it will be not easy.
“So, we have to stay focused about our group and our state of mind, which is the most important thing.”
The Group L encounter will kick-off at 5pm Nigerian time.
