AFCON 2027Q: Madagascar unveil squad for Super Eagles clash

Madagascar head coach Corentin Martins has named a 25-man squad for his side’s upcoming 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against Nigeria’s Super Eagles.

Martins selected the players from the initial 55-man provisional squad.

The list is dominated by foreign-based professionals, with a couple of players selected from the Malagasy league.

Madagascar will face the Super Eagles in a Matchday 1 fixture at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on Friday, September 25.

The Barea will host the Taifa Stars of Tanzania four days later.

The team will open camp for both games this weekend.
