African businesses must deepen innovation, strengthen leadership and adapt to rapidly changing markets if they are to achieve sustainable growth, organisers of the Africa Business & Enterprise Conference & Awards 2026 have said.

The organisers further highlighted need for innovation, effective leadership and strategies for businesses to thrive, noting these issues will form central thrust of the forthcoming conference.

Organised by Marketing Space Magazine under the theme “Empowering Business through Innovation and Leadership for Sustainable Growth,” the summit further seeks to confront structural economic challenges and strategies for enterprise resilience across the continent.

Group Chief Executive Officer of JESCHRIL Group, Dr. Olufemi Olaiya has been named the keynote speaker for the event scheduled for October 2, 2026, in Lagos.

The conference brings together policymakers, investors, corporate leaders, and innovators to address drivers of continental trade and organizational scale.

Publisher of Marketing Space Magazine, Ayobami Lukman-Ishau, noted that selecting a keynote speaker with multi-sector leadership experience reflects the summit’s commitment to addressing operational realities in emerging markets.

Olaiya corporate footprint spans renewable energy, digital technology, agribusiness, and media services. He holds a Doctor of Business Administration specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions. He is affiliated with the Institute of Directors, the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria, and the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria.
