Again, US shoots down more Iranian attack drones in Strait of Hormuz

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

United States forces on Friday launched another attack and shot down multiple Iranian one-way attack drones heading towards the Strait of Hormuz.

The US Central Command, CENTCOM, made this known in a post social media, stating that the waterway was open for transit.

“Iran launched multiple one-way attack drones in an attempt to strike commercial ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz.

“US forces have downed all of them in recent hours as traffic flow through the strait continues unimpeded,” CENTCOM said.

Iranian news agencies had reported that explosions were heard along the strait in Iran’s Sirik port and Qeshm island.

DAILY POST reports that it is the second night in a row the US has downed Iranian drones launched towards ships in the strait.
