Nigerians and social media users have reacted after American rapper, Nicki Minaj, reposted a message shared by Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
In a post on Wednesday, Peter Obi condemned ongoing killings, kidnappings and ransom demands in Borgu, Niger State, and called on the Federal Government to take stronger action to protect citizens.
Nicki Minaj reposted Obi’s message on Thursday.
The repost has sparked mixed reactions online, with some Nigerians describing it as a sign that the international community is paying attention to the happenings in Nigeria, while others criticised the singer for sharing Obi’s message.
