Angela Adebayo-Agbe Davies honoured among 100 reputable women of African descent 2026

Angela Adebayo-Agbe Davies, Managing Director of Inventa Nigeria, has been named one of the 100 Reputable Women of African Descent 2026 by the organisers of the Africa Women Summit.

The recognition was presented at the recent UK Convergence Conference in London.

Adebayo-Agbe Davies is a prominent voice in Nigeria’s intellectual property sector, where she advises businesses on intellectual property strategy, registration, licensing, enforcement and litigation.

She is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and the Nigerian Bar Association and has been recognised as one of Nigeria’s leading intellectual property practitioners.

She also serves on the boards of several leading organisations and is the Company Secretary of the Dangote Foundation.

Adebayo-Agbe Davies is particularly passionate about helping women-led businesses understand the value of intellectual property as a tool for protecting ideas, attracting investment and building sustainable enterprises.

The 100 Reputable Women of African Descent initiative celebrates women across Africa and the diaspora who demonstrate leadership, integrity and meaningful impact in their respective fields.
