Anti-bus preaching bill: Christians will rise up – Pastor Ibiyeomie warns NASS [VIDEO]

The founder of Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, has cautioned the National Assembly against enacting a proposed law prohibiting Christians from preaching in buses and taxis.

Ibiyeomie warned that such law could cause chaos and Christians will be forced to resist.

Addressing his members in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, the clergyman wondered why authorities allowed Muslims to use their microphones and loudspeakers during prayers but want to prohibit Christians from preaching in public places.

He said: “We want peace, allow Christians alone, as you allow Muslims also allow Christians. Are you aware that they said we should not preach in buses? That’s a stupid law and I will not be alive to see Christ being humiliated.

“Nigeria has gotten so stupid, the so-called men in the National Assembly I don’t know where they kept their brain, we should not preach in buses but they put loud speakers outside, nobody is talking but Christians are keeping quiet.

“I will never be alive to see Christianity being humiliated in Nigeria, if they do it some of us will leave. In Nigeria if we want peace, since they allow the Muslims to put microphones nobody is shouting, Christians will preach. If they say Christians should not preach, the they go their way while we will go our way but I won’t be alive not to see this gospel being preached.

“If they don’t wake up and stop all those rubbish laws, South Africans are killing Nigerians and nobody is talking, Nigeria is one of the poorest nations on earth and nobody is talking, they even say that we are not suffering while this is the most difficult time in Nigeria.

“They should not put such laws if they don’t want chaos in Nigeria otherwise some of us would rise up and take it by force. Tell them to stop that law, it’s not of God; if Muslims can use their microphone, we are free to preach.
