Former lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Shehu Sani, has condemned a viral video showing members of the JIBWIS First Aid Group threatening to kill Christians.
In a post on his official X handle on Monday, Sani described the video as condemnable and called for those involved to be apprehended and brought to justice.
According to him, those with a thirst for violence and human blood should have no place in the country.
He added that their dangerous utterances and conduct did not represent the official views of the JIBWIS First Aid Group, which was founded for humanitarian and peaceful purposes.
The former lawmaker urged security agencies to act swiftly to arrest those threatening Christians in the video.
“The viral video of those threatening to kill Christians is condemnable. Those involved should be apprehended and brought to justice.
“Those with a thirst for violence and human blood should have no space in our country. Their dangerous utterances and conduct don’t represent the official views of JIBWIS First Aid Group, which has been founded for humanitarian and peaceful missions,” he tweeted.
