Aspira engages consumers at RCCG campground with Viva, Oracare

Daily Post about 4 hours 2 mins read

Aspira Nigeria Limited, makers of Viva Detergent and other household care products, recently engaged consumers at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Campground through an on-ground consumer engagement initiative featuring Viva Dishwashing Liquid, Viva Detergent and Oracare Toothpaste.

The engagement provided an opportunity for Aspira to interact directly with consumers, create awareness around its products and provide practical guidance on everyday household hygiene, including dishwashing, laundry care and oral hygiene.

The initiative combined consumer education, product demonstrations and retail engagement, allowing consumers to learn more about the products and how they can be incorporated into their everyday routines. Consumers also had the opportunity to purchase the products directly at the activation point.

Speaking on the engagement, Barbara Onianwah, Head of Marketing at Aspira Nigeria Limited, said the company values opportunities to meet consumers in their everyday environments.

“Every consumer has a different routine, and sometimes the simplest household tasks can come with their own challenges. That is why it is important for us to meet people where they are, listen to them and show how our products can make those everyday moments a little easier. For us, these engagements are not just about putting a product in front of consumers; they are about creating meaningful experiences, building familiarity and earning a place in their everyday lives,” she said.

The RCCG Campground engagement reflects the growing role of direct consumer interaction in Nigeria’s FMCG sector, where manufacturers are increasingly creating opportunities to connect with consumers in environments where they live, shop and interact.

For Aspira, such engagements provide an opportunity to combine product awareness with education and retail access, while strengthening relationships with consumers and creating greater understanding of its household and personal care brands.

The RCCG engagement forms part of Aspira’s wider consumer engagement efforts, combining consumer interaction, product education and retail availability as the company continues to strengthen its connection with consumers across Nigeria.
