Newcastle United legend, Alan Shearer, has predicted that Arsenal will defeat Aston Villa in Monday’s Premier League clash.
Villa have lost several key players in this transfer market, with striker Ollie Watkins the latest squad member to leave.
Watkins has joined Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal, with Villa bringing in Nicolas Jackson as replacement.
Arsenal arrive full of confidence after opening the season with a 3-0 thrashing of Coventry City.
Shearer told The Metro: “It could be a tough season for Villa.
“They’ve suffered like Newcastle, having to sell their best players, and it’s very difficult to come back from that.
“Arsenal looked brilliant, and without doubt they’re the team to beat. I’ll say Arsenal three points.”
