Atiku: We agreed not to discuss ADC aspirants again – Amaechi

Daily Post about 14 hours 1 mins read

A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Rotimi Amaechi says all aspirants vying for the party’s presidential ticket have agreed to stop making derogatory comments against each other.

This followed a recent outburst by Amaechi, who slammed former vice president Atiku Abubakar over his refusal for zoning.

Speaking in an interview with Arise TV on Friday night, Amaechi said there was a resolve for all aspirants to back down on launching verbal attacks on each other.

“We’ve agreed in our meeting that nobody should discuss any of the presidential aspirants anymore”, he said when asked how he would defeat Atiku and other aspirants in the forthcoming primary election.

Amaechi, however, declared that he is more electable than other aspirants, citing his experiences after holding top positions in the country.

“Not about Atiku or anyone, but why I’m electable is because I’m the youngest but most experienced”, Amaechi added.
