Ballon d’Or 2026: ‘He is phenomenal’ – Chelsea’s former coach Morris names player to win award

Daily Post about 3 hours 1 mins read

Former Chelsea assistant manager, Jody Morris, has named Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane as the player who should win the Ballon d’Or this year.

According to Morris, the level the England captain performed for both club and country was phenomenal.

“The level Harry Kane performed last year for Bayern was phenomenal,” Morris told BOYLE Sports.

“In my opinion, he should win the Ballon d’Or. He had the second-best goal-scoring season in history.

“How do you not win the Ballon d’Or with those numbers while winning trophies and going deep in a tournament with England?”

Kane will definitely be among the top contenders for the Ballon d’Or after his impressive performances for both club and country.

The former Tottenham Hotspur star will compete against the likes of Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal, Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappe, Paris Saint-Germain’s Ousmane Dembele and others for the Ballon d’Or.
