Daily Post about 1 hour 1 mins read

Liverpool legend, Steven Gerrard has backed Bayern Munich striker, Harry Kane to win the 2026 Ballon d'Or on Monday.

According to Gerrard, there is no argument against Kane winning the Ballon d'Or ahead of other contenders like Barcelona's Lamine Yamal and Real Madrid's Kylian Mbappe.

Speaking to TNT Sports, the former England midfielder said, "I just think Harry’s ticked every single box. Mr. Consistent. Absolute goal machine.

"I just don’t think there is an argument against it [him winning the Ballon d’Or], and I wish him all the best come that ceremony on Monday. I think it’s now or never for him."

Kane netted over 70 goals for England and Bayern Munich last season as he won the Bundesliga title and the European Golden Boot.
