Como midfielder, Luis Milla, has named Barcelona winger, Lamine Yamal as the player who deserves to win the Ballon d’Or this year.
According to Milla, what Yamal does on the pitch is incredible, adding that it would be spectacular if he wins the Ballon d’Or at the age of 19.
Yamal is one of the leading contenders for the award, which the winner will be announced in London on October 26.
Speaking on El Larguero on SER (via Mundo Deportivo), Milla said, “I’m not sure because nothing is very, very clear. If it were down to titles and quality, the best would be Fabian Ruiz.
“But it is clear that right now I would give it to Lamine Yamal, in terms of flair, age… What he does is incredible.
“For me, it would be spectacular if Lamine, at the age of 19, were to win the Ballon d’Or. And I think he deserves it.”
