Ballon d’Or: ‘He’s from the street’ – Bacary Sagna names player that can win award

Daily Post about 1 hour 1 mins read

Former Arsenal defender, Bacary Sagna, has backed Manchester City star Rayan Cherki to win the Ballon d’Or in the future.

According to Sagna, the France international can win the top individual prize because he is from the street and also a special footballer.

Speaking via Oddschecker as quoted by Goal, Sagna said, “Cherki is special. You can tell by the way he plays that he is a showman and he is entertaining the whole crowd.

“You can see he is from the street by the way he plays. He reminds me of the Brazilian players with the ability to dribble, play and have a good touch.

“I think he can definitely win the Ballon d’Or in the future, and he still has time on his side as he is still very young.”
