Bandits attacked and killed two persons and abducted 21 others in a fresh attack on Akwando village in Kuturmiland, Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The attack took place in the early hours of Wednesday, November 4, 2026, when locals were sleeping in their respective homes.
This unfortunate development has renewed the persistent attacks on citizens following the fresh attack and has further worsened the security situation in the state.
Neither the Kaduna State Police Command nor the Ministry for Internal Security and Home Affairs has made any public statement on the development.
But a credible source who spoke to DAILY POST confirmed the incident, saying that the kidnappers entered Akwando village, Kuturmiland in Kachia LGA Kaduna State in the early hours of Wednesday and killed two and kidnapped 21 people.
According to him, "Members of the affected community are still apprehensive over the incidents. As we speak, the bandits have not made any demand."
