Bank of Ghana warns public against 20 unlicensed digital loan apps

The Bank of Ghana (BoG) has cautioned the public against using 20 digital loan applications operating without the required licence or authorisation. The Central Bank said the entities continue to provide digital loans to Ghanaians in breach of the Directive for Digital Credit Service Providers in Ghana issued in September 2025 and other applicable laws.
