Big Brother Naija Season 11 winner, Temi Nkem, has taken delivery of the Hyundai SUV and ₦90 million cash prize that formed part of her ₦160 million grand prize package.

The handover took place on Tuesday at the Multichoice studio in Lagos, two days after the 21-year-old was crowned winner of the “Show Ya Sef” edition of the reality TV show.

Temi arrived at the prize presentation in a Navy Blue gown, as her fellow Season 11 housemates, Aikou, Tram, Bluethopia, Araga, Oyin, Chimsom, Bells, and Yusuf, joined her at the event.

The new Hyundai SUV was presented to Temi by representatives of the show’s sponsors, with the reality star later posing for photographs with the vehicle and the keys.

The cash component of the prize was presented as a ₦90 million cheque, while the Hyundai SUV formed the major physical prize handed over to her at the event.

Temi, who appeared visibly excited during the presentation, expressed gratitude to God, her family and her supporters, particularly members of her fanbase known as the “Teminators”.

The 21-year-old revealed she already has plans to invest her cash prize
She also thanked viewers who voted for her during the 70-day competition and helped her secure the title.

Temi emerged victorious at the grand finale on Sunday after polling 25.87 per cent of the final votes.

She defeated Aikou, who finished as the first runner-up with 23.68 per cent, while Sheba emerged as the second runner-up with 9.80 per cent.

The victory made Temi the fifth female winner in the history of Big Brother Naija, following Mercy Eke, Phyna, Ilebaye and Imisi.

From Housemate To Winner

Temi’s victory brought an end to 10 weeks of competition involving 24 housemates and a season marked by evictions, alliances, confrontations, romance, twists and several memorable moments.

The IJGB’s journey included a fake eviction, BB Bucks drama, relationships with fellow housemates and a series of diary-room moments that helped establish her as one of the season’s most prominent personalities.

Her outspoken and unpredictable personality kept her at the centre of conversations throughout the competition, while her ability to survive repeated periods of nomination eventually took her to the finale.

The official prize package was valued at ₦160 million and included the ₦90 million cash prize, the new SUV and additional sponsored prizes.
