Daily Post 28 days 1 mins read

Benue State Government has announced the postponement of activities scheduled to mark the state’s 50th anniversary and the third year anniversary of the current administration led by Governor Hyacinth Alia.

The decision was contained in a statement signed by the Deputy Governor of Benue State, Barr. Dr. Sam Ode, mni, on Wednesday.

According to the statement, the postponement became necessary to allow for adjustments and consultations aimed at ensuring a more successful and inclusive celebration.

The government said a new date for the activities would be communicated to the public in due course.

It also expressed regret over any inconvenience the postponement may cause to individuals, groups and organisations that had made preparations for the celebrations.

The government appreciated the people of the state for their understanding, patience and continued support.
