Bride Price Drama: I Would’ve Collected Car I Bought You But I Can’t Because It’s Registered in Your Name — Peller Tells Jarvis

InformationNG April 8, 2026 2 mins read

TikTok stars Peller and Jarvis sparked fresh online buzz after a heated exchange during a live session, where they revisited issues around bride price and a car gift to Jarvis.

The drama began when Peller referenced Jarvis’s recent remark about him not paying her bride price, suggesting he could also stop giving her gifts if he considers the issue the same way she does.

Jarvis fired back, insisting she never pressured him into buying anything. “I have never forced you to buy me anything. I did not force you to buy me a car,” she said, adding that some of the gifts were even taken back by him in the past.

The conversation escalated when Peller revealed he had once considered taking back the car he bought for her but could not because it was registered in her name.

Jarvis, however, gave her own version of events, revealing that the car caused her significant financial stress shortly after it was gifted.

“Two days after you bought me a car I had an accident with it that I had to spend millions of naira from my own account to repair it.

I didn’t tell you cause you’ll be angry. You bought me a liability. If it was an asset I wouldn’t have to be removing my own money,” she said.
