The Brufut Youth and Sports Development Committee on Friday signed a three -year partnership deal with GSM giants Africell Gambia Limited, at the town’s football grounds, The Strasser Football Field, one of the most iconic sports sites in the country.
Under the deal, Africell will provide financial support totalling D294,150.00 annually, during the life span of the deal.
These funds will be used to support committee operations and field development.
Also, Africell will provide 4 full sets of jerseys for the finalists of the Nawettan league each year. The company will also connect the lines of 15 Brufut sports officials to enable them to call each other free of charge via Closed User Group (CUG).
Finally but not the least, Africell will be branding and illuminating the walls and inside the structures at Strasser Field, giving the grounds a fresh and beautiful look.
The Brufut community expressed great excitement about the deal and look forward to successful partnership with Africell.
