Bundesliga: Moffi thrilled with Hamburg’s victory over Hoffenheim

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Terem Moffi can’t hide is excitement following Hamburg’s thrilling 3-2 comeback win over Hoffenheim.

The visitors trailed 2-1 with seven minutes remaining on the clock.

Moffi, who replaced Martin Adeline in the 76th minute, equalised for Hamburg seven minutes later.

The goal was the striker’s first since linking up with Die Rothosen this summer.

Miro Muheim then netted the winner for Merlin Polzin’s side deep into stoppage time.

Moffi was happy with his contribution to the team’s success.

“We are very proud. I’m happy that I was able to help the team with my goal. Miro’s cross was a truly wonderful cross,” Moffi told the club’s official website.

“All I had to do was get myself into position. After that, I had the feeling that we still had a chance to win the game. We succeeded in doing that in the last minute.”
