Busari names 21-player Flamingos squad for 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup

Flamingos head coach Akeem Busari has selected 21 players for the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.

The list includes team captain Harmony Chidi, defenders Elizabeth Adesuyi and Esther Stephen, midfielders Mary Dustan and Favour Nkwocha, and forwards Tosin Rafiu, Queen Joseph, Precious Oscar and Oluwakemi Adegbuyi.

Nigeria will face Poland, Puerto Rico and North Korea in Group B.

The Flamingos will play their first match of the competition against Poland on October 17, before further group-stage matches against Puerto Rico and North Korea on October 20 and 23, respectively.

The players and their officials will depart for Morocco on Wednesday.
