CAF Champions League: Obaje targets group stage ticket with Rangers

Rangers forward, Godwin Obaje is determined to help the club qualify for the group stage of the CAF Champions League. 

DAILY POST reports that The Flying Antelopes are yet to reach the group stage of the competition in their history.

Rangers will lock horns with Algerian side MC Alger in the second qualifying round of the competition.

The first leg is scheduled for MKO Abiola Sports Complex, Abeokuta on Sunday, October 18th while the return leg is billed for Algeria on 23rd October.

The winner of the encounter will qualify for the group stage of the competition.

“That’s my target for now,(to qualify for the group stage of the CAF Champions League),” Obaje was quoted by completesports.

“But let’s reach the group stage first. From there, we see what God can do for us next.”
