Rivers United technical adviser, Finidi George, has declared his team ready for the CAF Champions League clash with San Pedro.
The Port Harcourt club will be away to the Ivorian side in the first leg first preliminary round clash at the San Pedro Stadium on Saturday night.
Finidi’s side also featured in last season’s competition, making it to the group stage.
The gaffer said his team is ready for another experience.
“So, it’s a new team that we’ve now. We’re also looking forward to that experience. We don’t have three, four seasons experience of CAF Champions League,” Finidi told a press conference.
“So, we’re new as well because there’s a whole lot of new players in the team”.
