CAF Confederation Cup: Shooting Stars ready for CS Sfaxien showdown – Salami

Shooting Stars Chairman, Taiwo Lekan-Salami, says the players are motivated for their away fixture against CS Sfaxien.

The Oluyole Warriors will lock horns with the Tunisian side in the second leg of their CAF Confederation Cup first preliminary round tie at the Taieb Mhiri Stadium, Sfax, on Sunday.

Shooting Stars will take a 1-0 lead into the encounter.

Salami said the players are aware of the expectations ahead of the game.

“It’s been okay. I mean, very lovely place. The boys are charged, they’re motivated,” Salami told 3SCFANTV.

“The expectation is very simple, actually. You know, we need to qualify. That means we need to either win or draw this encounter.

“I know we’re not going to lose, so I believe that we’re going to win this match. That’s what we’re going out for. And once we do, we know we’re in the next round.”
