Rivers United defender, Stephen Manyo has expressed the team’s readiness for the CAF Champions League encounter against San Pedro.
The first preliminary round first leg tie will hold at the Stade Laurent Pokou in San-Pédro on Saturday.
The return leg is scheduled for the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo this weekend.
“We are prepare for the season, as we have been preparing for this for over two months now,” Manyo told the club’s media.
“Our first game in the league showed a glimpse of what to expect from us this season, I believe we are ready to compete.”
