FIFA has unveiled its official 2026 FIFA World Cup Team of the Tournament, with newly crowned champions Spain providing the highest number of players in the star-studded XI.
The team, arranged in a 4-3-3 formation, recognises the standout performers from the tournament staged across Canada, Mexico and the United States, featuring players from seven different countries.
Spain, who lifted the World Cup trophy after defeating Argentina in the final, have three representatives in the squad. Full-backs Marc Cucurella and Pedro Porro are joined by midfielder Rodri, whose influential performances helped steer La Roja to their second World Cup title.

Finalists Argentina also have two players in the selection. Captain Lionel Messi earned a place in the attack after another memorable tournament, while defender Lisandro Martínez was included for his solid displays at the back.
France matched Spain with three representatives in the XI. Kylian Mbappé and Michael Olise were named in the forward line, while central defender Dayot Upamecano secured a place after helping Les Bleus reach the semi-finals.
England midfielder Jude Bellingham was rewarded for another impressive World Cup campaign with a place in midfield.
Norway striker Erling Haaland leads the attack after finishing among the tournament’s top scorers, while Cape Verde goalkeeper Vozinha completes the team following a series of outstanding performances that made him one of the surprise stars of the competition.
