Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has praised two of his players following their performances against Ipswich Town in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday.
Arteta described Max Dowman’s display as unbelievable and that of Marli Salmon as incredible.
Arsenal defeated Ipswich Town, thanks to Dowman’s brace and a goal from Noni Madueke and Mikel Merino.
Speaking during his post-match interview, Arteta said of Dowman, “He was unbelievable again; some of the actions and connections that he can give us on the pitch are just a joy to watch.
On Salmon’s performance, Arteta added, “Really good as well. Again, another 17-year-old doing something incredible, so yeah, really proud of him.”
